Do you love any type of modern farmhouse wreath? Especially those with lamb’s ears, hoops, and other greens! Well if you do you have come to the right place! Today’s tutorial will show you how simple it is to make one of these beautiful wreaths! You can definitely make it in 30 min or less. And it it also, very affordable, this wreath cost about $10 to make!
I originally got this idea from my sister-in-law. She was really excited about making these and purchased one for me and my mother-in-law. She showed me the quick and easy process she used so I thought I would share it on here.
And even though these are super simple and beautiful. I have seen them priced for upwards of $40 in boutiques and on Etsy. So save yourself some money and try your hand at this simple tutorial. Keep one for yourself and share one as a gift to someone else.
Let’s get started!
Here’s what you need:
- Greens- Lamb’s ears, other at least one other green
- Artificial white rose
- Hoop Ring
- Scissors
- Floral tape
- Floral wire
- Hot glue gun & glue sticks
- Ribbon/ burlap
Here’s what you do:
1. Add greens to the hoop
Position your greens on the hoop like you want them. Cut any greens to fit the look you are going for. Attach the greens to the hoop with floral wire in two places. At the bottom of the greens and towards the top of the greens. Then wrap the wire in floral tape.
2. Hot glue the flower in the center of the hoop
Next just hot glue the white rose or flower to the center of the hoop. You can also hot glue any areas of the greens that may need it.
3. Add burlap or a ribbon to hang your wreath
The last step is to add burlap or ribbon to the top of your wreath so you can hang it.
You can hang this wreath in a variety of places. Directly on your wall, on a window, an old window or shutter or on a board/ unfinished cabinet door.
Isn’t that easy? I love how simple and beautiful it ends up being.
So no need to spend over $40 on one of these babies! Just sit down for a few minutes and you can make your own beautiful farmhouse hoop wreath. If you make a few of them at one time you could end up saving money by using the same supplies!
Let me know if you make one of these beauties for yourself and where you end up hanging yours!
For now take care! And goodnight!
