Today’s a fun day for me because I love to give things away! Today I am sending away these cozy little fabric pumpkins made from old socks to our Fall Giveaway winner!
First of all I am so thankful to everyone that participated! We had over 800 people entered into the drawing!!! I am so blown away by that number!! And I really wish I had the bandwidth to send everyone a set of these pumpkins just for being a reader of A Well Purposed Woman! Because building a relationship with my current subscribers is the best reason to be a blogger!!
But since I am not able to do that at this point. I used a random number generator app and picked one name of those currently subscribed. All current subscribers were added into the drawing today. And today’s winner is…. Lorna Gerke of DiPere, WI!! Congratulations Lorna on winning and I hope these three little pumpkins will be a nice addition to your fall decor.
If you are bummed you didn’t win this time don’t worry!
I am hoping to continue to do some giveaways during the Christmas season so if you didn’t win today’s giveaway you will have more chances in the not so distance future.
Also I did post the instructions to make these little pumpkins and several others on my blog. But if you missed the tutorials. Here they are 3 different ways to re-purpose clothing items into fabric pumpkins this year.
1. Pumpkins from Old Socks:
2. Fabric Pumpkins from Old Sweaters:
3. Fabric Pumpkins from an old velvet Skirt:
I have seen some of the fabric pumpkins that people are making and it is so fun to see them!! I am always amazed at how unique each of them turn out and how everyone puts their own spin on them. Fabric pumpkins are so fun!! I hope that you have some fun making them this season if you haven’t gotten around to it yet.
For how much I love fall and fabric pumpkins, I have been feeling the growing excitement to get started with Christmas gifts and decor!! So starting next week I will start to post about Christmas gifts and ideas.
I am planning to do a series on the 12 Days of Christmas Gift & Decor Ideas where I will make projects with rustic charm for the Christmas season. I am planning on doing a mix of wreaths, trees, sewing projects, ornaments and more! So make sure to subscribe if you haven’t yet already. Perhaps you will get a chance to win a giveaway during Christmas time but either way I hope you will follow along!!
