Genesis 1:1
For the longest time I have wanted to create activities to go along with each day of our Jesse Tree tradition. When my kiddos were really little I just didn’t have the time. Now I still don’t have the time (lol) but I do have two older daughters that can help. So we are going to try to get through the 24 days of advent and give you a new activitiy to go along with the Jesse Tree each day.
Today is day one and we are reading through the first chapter of Genesis. We are reminded that God spoke and the world was created. As a creator often times it takes me so long to get a project just right. Can you imagine if you just spoke and your creation was created, and not only created but created perfectly? It is neat to think about how powerful God is as we move into making our own world ornaments today.

Take your paint and add a small amount of water to each of the paints you will be using (about 1 tsp). Thinner paint moves around more easily in the ornaments and covers the surface better. Pour paint into your ornament one color at a time. Use a combination of the blue, green and white paints to make the
Step 4: Move your ornament around to mix colors
Now holding the open of your ornament upwards, move your ornament around to fill the entire surface of your ornament.
